According to World Health Organization estimates (2015), 322 million people around the world live with depression. This number also appears to be increasing as the global population ages. Depression can be very difficult to manage on your own, often requiring medication, counselling or some combination of both. This program is based on Cognitive Behavioral principles and designed for anyone who feels as though they may be experiencing difficulty with depression and wants to educate themselves about it. The road to recovery can at times be a long difficult journey, this program can help to get you started.

Brandon makes it clear from the start that you are the expert in your own pain and how it affects you. I immediately felt like he wasn’t trying to be a know-it-all and tell me what I should and shouldn’t be doing. I’ve read books and articles online before which have put me off as the author or presenter comes across in a very unsympathetic way. Brandon is the complete opposite. He has a very empathetic tone and his style keeps you listening.
The theory and psychology behind chronic pain and coping with it can be very complex, but not in this programme. There is no technical language; no complex science and theory to understand. Everything is in plain English and makes a lot of sense.
